Deal: Wenger Vieli acted as Swiss legal counsel to Inner Mongolia Mengtai Group on the acquisition of Alu Menziken Extrusion

Wenger Vieli advised Inner Mongolia Mengtai Group, a diversified conglomerate with interests in energy, agriculture, and aluminum production, on all Swiss legal aspects related to its acquisition of Alu Menziken Extrusion from Montana Aerospace. This acquisition is a strategic move by Mengtai Group to bolster its base in the European aluminum industry, enhancing its capacity to deliver products from raw materials to advanced applications. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approvals. The financial terms of the transaction are not to be disclosed.

Alu Menziken Extrusion specializes in producing high-quality aluminum components utilized by leading suppliers and OEMs across the automotive, construction, industrial, and pneumatics sectors. The company employs around 700 staff across its operations in Switzerland, Austria, and Romania, offering comprehensive solutions from extrusion to finished assembly.
